Definitions:
(1) Heat Content mean : mean of Heat Content (HC) model values calculated from 0 to 300m on the zone for the indicated day. (2) Heat Content anomaly mean : the Heat Content Anomaly calculated from 0 to 300m represents the deviation between the HC model and a HC calculated from a temperature reference (here, the reference is the 2005 Levitus climatology). (3) Heat Content anomaly monthly tendency : slope of linear fit to values over the 30 latest days calculated with the HC Anomaly Mean evolution curve. |
